Spring has Sprung

We have had a long winter this year.  Most of us are happy to have spring upon us.  With the long awaited arrival of spring comes the end of the gun show season and the beginning of the camping season.  We didn’t get to camp nearly as much as we would have liked last year, this year is going to be different.

We already have multiple camping weekends planned.  Some for shows or training events we are doing, and others to just relax.dry-creek-bed-in-woods-11066129977048192f

We didn’t do the Avon flea market last year, and it doesn’t look like we will be doing it this year either.   We are looking into other venues for the summertime.  We are looking into a venue that will allow us to display more products than we have ever been able to before.  I am hoping to have more information on this next week.

This being said, the last gun show of  the season is this weekend in Hamburg.  After Hamburg will probably be the open house at Godfrey’s Pond.  As always i try to keep the website updated as to where we are going to be and when.  You can always check our calendar/events to be sure.

I am an avid outdoorsman. I have been outdoors since I was a kid. I was in Boy Scouts until we moved during my junior year of high school. At which point I was Life rank starting to work toward Eagle. I have been camping, hunting, fishing, hiking as long as I can remember. I have done presentations and workshops with groups ranging from children to adults. I have done several presentations/demonstrations in regards to fire making and knot tying (most popular) and many other topics. I have worked with a variety of scouts and leaders. We had a preparedness group where we would discuss various topics related to being prepared, canning, gardening, natural disasters, etc. I truly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have with others.
